You really do provide a service to those who can not travel - whether it is because of finances, or health, or circumstances that are beyond control... For myself, I didn't watch so much KZbin until I was stuck at home due to COVID restrictions - that was when I found The Budgetteers (and a variety of other travel vloggers.) For those of us who have a little bit of a gypsy spirit within, the idea of staying put was so depressing and maddening - so to be able to watch someone travel was glorious. So thank you for being brave and taking the chance on taking a year off - I predict that you might not go back... but we will see. :) And I'll admit that I got a little teary eyed at the end. I pray the Mystery Man feels very loved and thought of through your beautiful video.

You're the top relevant vlogger in Thailand right now. It's true because I said so. No clowning or silly antics. I'm enjoying the ride along with you and learning about provinces I've been to and yet to visit. Comprehensive journey so far. You have a presentable personality, yet focus and allow the viewer to appreciate the landscapes and peculiarities of each province. Great job ! 👍🏼

Kao Ngoo, the first site you visited was once a quarry mine. The government stopped mining concession in 1988. The white face and cliff of the mountain is a result of quarry explosion in those days. The cessation is partly because of the mountains with many caves being archaeological sites. Centuries-old buddha image carved on the wall of the cave. Kao Ngoo forms the backdrop of Ratchaburi city. Believed to be the abode of Buddhist monks practicing meditation in isolation of ancient Ratchaburi.

Paddy, my wife came from Ratchaburi. I've been past these rocks plenty but never stopped there. I met her online 10 years ago and we were together for 7 and married for 5. Unfortunately she had ovarian cancer and died peacefully in Wat Phleng hospital not to far from there really and I held her hand as she left this world which will be 3 years ago in December. I was enjoying the video and then you had the married couple on and I could not stop myself from crying, I still miss her a lot and I have so many happy memories, she was such a beautiful, gentle, and kind lady and only 46. I learned a lot from her and it was a privilige to have had her in my life and to be with her at her passing, it was an amazing surreal experience I can't explain well, suffice it to say I truly know from experience that she did not die, just her body did. I have enjoyed your escapades immensely and this video had me totally choked up. I am coming back soon and will be living in Chiang Mai, bodies do stop but life and the dreams of the dreamer do not, they just transform. I hope I might get to meet you one day and buy you a meal and beer or two and say thanks for all your highly entertaining work.

The spikey rocks pointing down Paddy are called stalactites and the ones that point up are stalagmites. The easy way to remember which is which is to remember the tights fall down ☺️. Get the mini 2s does a great job and is 4k. I log in every day to see if you have posted and there are only 2 you tubers I haven’t ever done that for in my entire time watching you tube which btw, I started watching when I first moved to Thailand in 2005. You're actually right it's almost not real. The white quarry you saw was what left of the former much bigger mountain that was almost razed down the whole for lime mining if not after they discovered a cave there houses carved ancient Buddha images so it became an archeological sites since. The beauty of the place is half an unintentional human creation.

You made it look easy but it is your years of video production experience under your belt that allows you to make an engaging, informative and interesting video in short order. You are a one-man show and it underlines the important skill set you possess - skillful drone piloting providing cinematic shots, quick and merciless video editing, on your feet scripting and most of all actively engaging your viewers with passion on your mission. Needless to say we look forward to your videos.
