No way, I randomly found this and I’m shocked because around 9 years ago, Paddy was my teacher in that school. Do you remember class 6/7? 😭 I’m crying. I still tell the story about your favorite hairstyle back then 😂 (a small braid) to my friends. You are one of my favorite teachers in my life. Hope we will meet again. I don’t know why KZbin suggested me this. Fate will it! Ps. I’m not sure you can remember me, it’s Maprang :)

Of all the videos of you that I have watched, this is probably the most personal, the most reflective, and in some ways, soothing. It was like a mini retrospective of a part of your life and all that you have accomplished since then, the people you have met, the things you have done, your thoughts. Very inspiring! I love the filming from the drone with music, the scenes of the beautiful beach and I feel the vibes thousands of kilometres away. Thanks for sharing your experience and opening my eyes to the unknown and the beauty of Thailand! This is LIFE.

I agree too! This video really touched me! Three days ago I booked my flight to Thailand in January and I will definitely go to chumphon! Just to walk on tracks Paddy showed us! I traveled a bit the world when I was in Paddy's age and now I´m 69. But so many things Paddy said in this video reminded me to my youth and my travel experiences. One sentence I pick up from another hitchhiker was: people make places: And when he showed his "family" and people he met or the post of pimramai here.... I almost start crying and that doesn't happen very often..... What a masterpiece of video Paddy!!!! And peace to all of you❤💚

I find it really difficult revisiting my past. It either provokes great memories that you no longer have or horrible memories that are obviously negative. I’ve done it a few times; visited old places I’ve lived and it always provoked feelings that just make me upset for whatever reason. Always move forward, make new memories every day, live for now.

You have the best vlogs about Thailand. I watched most of them. I am very envious of your experience traveling all over Thailand. I was born in Thailand, but moved to the US when I was a teenager. When I visited, I normally saw various relatives at only a handful of provinces. I have been to most the tourist traps in Thailand, Chiang Mai, Phuket, etc. But I have always wanted to travel the country the way you do it. Now I have made it a mission to do the same in the near future.

I can’t begin to tell you what your videos have meant to my wife and I. My wife is Thai and immigrated to America when she was 17. We met in college and soon got married. Thus began my sheer love for Thailand over the last 45 years. We lived in Chiang Mai in 2011-12 where I taught at Duryasilp College of Music, Payap University. Your videos have given us laughter, tears of joy and missing Thailand and have kept kindled the hope that we will be able to come back as soon as things open up. I look forward to every video each week and can relate so much with your experiences and honest “take” on Thailand. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Wonderful and hugely enjoyable episode as always Paddy. Hollywood producers pay millions for scores and soundtracks to elicit emotion from their audience but you need none of that. Your çomfort and ease in front of the camera allow you to tell the story of your life in such a natural and engaging way.
