One reason I adore Ace Attorney is because it scratches the itch in my brain for confounding and bizarre mysteries. This case in particular is insane because every new detail makes it increasingly more bizarre, almost like only something supernatural could have committed the murder, yet that can't possibly be the case. You need to prove Edgeworth didn't shoot the gun? You finally get a photo that proves it, but in doing so that leaves the victim as the shooter, but oh what's this? The bullet wound was from over a meter away meaning that he was definitely shot by someone else? Now both people couldn't have done it but it HAD to have been inside the boat. Well shit now the only explanation is a literal fucking ghost did it!!!?????!!!?!?!?!??!! Never thought I'd see the day where a mystery has truly and COMPLETELY stumped Crystaahhl. Ace Attorney is a different breed. The future cases only get significantly harder so this will be highly entertaining.

So the first game's lead localizer was Alexander O. Smith. Beyond that, all subsequent English-language AA localizations were handled by Janet Hsu. (Apparently Smith had a hand in translating Apollo Justice as well.)

I hope after this you can find a way to play the Professor Layton games. Similar to Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton is about solving mysteries and the franchise had a crossover game with Phoenix Wright once the 3DS! 😁
