This could be my favourite new fishing channel. Completely enjoyed this film 😊

What a breath of fresh air this video is. Down to earth, basic tactics, cheap bait...Great camera work and no dreadful "fairground" type music. Superb. Subscribed.

I love how you talk posh until the real Pons comes out as soon as you have a fish on the line 😀 Really impressive production quality and editing and I never realised you could be this calm, but then I have never watched you fish before 😃 Great stuff Pons my old chap.

An informative, entertaining and quality production. Thankfully no pumping Ibiza soundtrack either. Not quite Jack Hargreaves but a nod in the right direction. Thumbs up to the "Ponz" - Happy Days.👍

Chris absolutely cracking video the 2nd I've watched in 2 days. Just sad theirs only 3! Keep them coming you could literally be the new john wilson and that's fully a compliment on my eyes. Watched him as a boy growing up. Makes me want to go fishing with you. May well try some touch levering if conditions allow on the wye on Saturday cheers Jon

How I miss that type of fishing I used to do in Europe. We don't have those fish here in Canada. Great video thanks for sharing. I enjoyed every moment of it. Cheers from Canada.

Great video, i loved the way you put the video across. I live in N. Ireland we do not have chub grayling or barbel over here but we have one of the best rivers in Uk to fish the River Bann.

Great vid mate! and that rod looks a bit special, is it a custom build? are they very expensive? Cheers.

excellent Chris simple method these days its all about bloody hair rigs and over complicating everything.The onlything id have done different hook straight through bait in place with bit of grass stem.
@chrisponsford13272 жыл бұрын
Yes ,excellent idea ,am sure that would work very well , Nicholas .

Enjoyed watching that Chris, did you fish straight through with braid or flouro / mono leader
@chrisponsford13272 жыл бұрын
Yes Kevin ,a two foot length of 11lb mono attached to the swivel and size six hook as shown in the film

Great stuff - my idea of good fishing. Appreciate it's all about the fishing rather than the gear, but I'd be interested in details of your rod and braid.
@chrisponsford13272 жыл бұрын
Hi ,the rod was made by Andy Sliwa and is called the small river and stream 1.6lb test. The braid was 18lb power Pro, the hook length was prestons power Pro.
