Takes me back to my first river fishing experiences with chub ... interesting that the fish come out more from the snags to feed makes sense when you think about their food supply and feeding habits .. again video full of usefull information and tips .. always learning that little bit more with each of your videos ... Thank you for sharing. John

@FromTheWatersEdgeTV8 жыл бұрын
Cheers +viva la tin glad you enjoyed it. No we didn't, we just guessed at around 3ft, which on average is about right on the Wensum on that particular stretch.

Do you use crusty loaf cut up or is it just normal sliced bread kingsmill/hovis stuff? Does it really matter?

I don't think it really matters too much Harry!

Very enjoyable video! I always seem to have better results on chub with the float than with ledgering. Can't explain why but I guess every water is different. Keep on with the good work.

+From The Waters Edge TV Im not sure if that's a good standard from where you fish but the man who owns the fishery was impressed. My first time fishing with a hire rod and I caught it in around 30 minutes after my first (successful) cast. I didn't catch anything else for the next 1:30 hours but I got home and it made a good meal for 4. I'm going to invest in my own rod and I have subscribed to your chanel as I enjoy watching these kinds of videos. I am going to fish for rainbow, blue and brown trout at the fishery I talked about and am going to fish my local loch (

Hi, when u are using pellets on the method feeder on some of you other videos what do you do if you don't use them all. Do you put them in the freezer or do you always soak new one each time you fish? Also would you recommend soaking them at the bank with lake water or the night before with tap water? Thanks
@FromTheWatersEdgeTV8 жыл бұрын
We normally throw them in at the end +AN BMX300 I believe you could freeze them though. We always use lake water to soak them.
