27:52 - the " money tin ". When you find those the top is nearly always cut open, presumably because it is the only way to retrieve any contents since pit in. Scrap steel they are, but extremely light. Very much a judgement call to bother with as scrap.

One more question brother I hope it helps your algorithm but I'm a purely curious individual I keep all the great screen doors when I used to do it I live on a Major Street all I would do is put a sign on them and leave them against the front of my house I wouldn't even have to advertise. I would look at what they cost at Home Depot and slash it by half or less. So it moves immediately you know Prophet Ville🎉

I know you got your own thing going on. But I don't understand why you drive all around just for metal a whole truckload is like 50 bucks not including the gas you have to put in you pass up so much nice kids clothes and toys and shoes and you act like you're going to grab it and then there's always something wrong with those items and you go right for the metal I recycle only it seems. I pick neighborhoods locally make a lot of money off toy shoes and clothes crazy the amount of stuff you don't get especially when you're picking trying to make money I know sometimes you can fix appliances but most of the time they're broke ☹️ I know I'll probably get hate for this message but a nice bag of kids clothes can bring 40 bucks for one bag that's the price of pretty much your whole scrap load not including the shoes and the other toys you passed up a lot of vintage stuff too. Hope you're the best on your channel it's just hard watching when all you do is pick up metal and leave behind so much great stuff maybe you should give it a shot picking up close toy shoes backpacks you make so much more money I have a trailer for my scrap and the van for all the clothes ,kids and household stuff

Like with anything you have to start somewhere. My knowledge for what sells grows every week. I started with metals and things I know I’ve sold before like PlayStations, lawnmowers, shoes etc. Other considerations for myself are the time and space I have available to process it all and disposing of rubbish. Rubbish builds up quick and Its not cheap. It’s always a battle. I hope one day I’ll be as savvy with the resell as you are. Until then it’s slowly but surely.
