Let’s Go Thrifting in Florida! Vintage Home Decor & Books

Hi friends! While I was in Jacksonville, Florida last week I hit up some great thrift stores, vintage antiques shops, and the most amazing used book store ever - Chamblin’s Bookmine. In this video I’m sharing some of my thrifting videos and shopping for used books. So come thrift with me at the goodwill and check out my thrift haul! Let’s go thrifting!

OMG.....Chamblin Bookmine!!!!!! We used to go there all of the time when we lived in Jacksonville. The kids loved wandering around and getting lost......and the smell!!! Book lovers understand what I am talking about.

Knoxville, TN and Chattanooga, TN have McKay's used book stores. They're nothing like what you went to, but lots of books nonetheless. Many like what you purchased. I used to have that cross stitch book.

Hi Melissa Yes we love books. We used to go to Lexington Kentucky for old book thrift stores. Now we mostly find them at estate sales. I especially love old cookbooks. I love Martha Stewart...surprised I dont have some of hers. I do badly miss her magazine. I kept some of hers, especially the Christmas ones. Do you know she was in Sports Illustrated bathing suit edition? I also love books for display..love the gold page ones. I like to buy children's books for the little nieces They are avid readers. Your dog is beautiful.. I for one don't mind him being in your videoes. I wish I liked to travel alone. I don't really enjoy driving. We had a church friend who would drive me to the store and shopping anywhere. I enjoy all of your thrifting❤❤❤

Good Wills that I've been to down here in Florida are so much bigger & nicer than the ones where I'm from (small Tennessee town) I've shopped the ones in Orlando area when my son lived there, but now he's down right by Tampa. I haven't been to the ones here yet. I like the Salvation Army stores down this way. Ohhh the big chunky ornate frame was gorgeous❤Ohhh my goodness.. that bookstore is unbelievable😮 I'd definitely need to go at opening time & stay till closing, I'm sure i could get lost easily😁 We leave tomorrow to come back home.. its going to break my heart to leave my son and my precious little granddaughter💔 Thanks for sharing.

Love books...daughter is an author of nine. I have the crossstitch book and did the flower one for a church auction a long while back. I hope you do get to experience cook-bake time in kitchen with your grands.

Hi Melissa love all your finds I live in Miami and have traveled to those places you’ve shown I love thrifting as well, I also have one of those wicker heart basket mine it’s just natural color,and what I did was I hung it on the wall as a shelve and put a small ceramic sheep in it and I had it in my youngest daughters room now she’s 34😂 I believe I might still have it in storage,but you could do something like that so that you can always see it not just on Valentines, or as decoration with other baskets on the wall🤷🏼‍♀️ but anyways thanks for sharing always enjoy your videos, love that you show your trips as well 😊🙏🏻🙋🏼‍♀️
