I always take a heating pad with an auto shut off after 2 hours. This is so essential for a tired back after leaning over a table all day. It is a blessing and I don't leave home without it!

FOUR day crop - WOO HOO!!! I hope you had a great time! I go twice a year to a local crop held in a hotel conference room and I just LOVE it. It's not huge - no more than 40 crafters. The organizer had to limit it for the last few crops to only 20 people because of Covid. :( While I miss the additional people - we get more space to work in which is AWESOME.

Oh wow! That sounds fantastic! Even 20 people is so fun and social, but 40?! I think I would love that.

Kudos to you for working on your masters and going to a crop at the same time. You have my respect.

Haha, thanks! It's been tough to keep everything in balance, but I'll be done in 10 months so there is light at the end of the tunnel 😜

I hope you had a great time on your crop. I like to stand as well so if I know I have my own table I bring bed risers to lift up my table. Also an extension cord to plug in my ott light and phone charger. This last girls weekend/crop o went on I brought my. I left and devotion book. Since I get up much earlier than my friends it was nice to grab my coffee, Bible, and devotional book and go out on the deck and spend some quiet time before starting the day.

Hannah, when I'm sitting and crafting for a long while, I often need a small stool or something to elevate and rest my feet on. Is that something you would need?

Hi Hannah, I look forward to seeing your video you took at the crop which I know you have posted. I am way behind but I am sure you had a great time. I can’t imagine you not making some new friends there with your delightful personality. I haven’t been on a day crop or weekend scrapbook/craft retreat sine June 2018; they are obviously quite scarce in my part of Australia. I loved them and do miss them. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed this video and your approach to packing etc and what you take. I also found the comments great too with the different suggestions. I look forward to seeing how much you accomplish with your scrapbook, which by the way, looked terrific. I always loved retreats but production-wise didn’t get much done.......but I never mind. Hopefully I will be able to return to them at some stage. I still scrapbook in my craftroom which I thoroughly enjoy 😊. Best Wishes, Rebecca in Australia 🇦🇺

Oh Rebecca, I hope that you are able to get out to a crop soon. Three years is such a long time in between events. Now that I've been to one and loved it, I don't want to wait at all to get back at it:) I was MOSTLY productive, but spent quite a bit of my time socializing and that was just wonderful, especially after being stuck at home alone for the past 18 months. I hope you are well and that you can find some social crafting time soon:)

Something I always take with me are hard candies or gum. It actually helps keep me focused and keeps me from snacking too much, especially it either one is mint.

Hey Hannah, great video and I have found this really helpful as I’m going on a crop very soon. My last crop, I’m sure that I packed most of the craft room up…..lol. Thanks also for your check list! 🥰 new subbie. Crafty hugs.

I have a group of women who I crop with every year at a house that we rent. One thing that we do ahead of time is plan out our meals. Everyone signs up to be in charge of a meal. We try to make it simple. Things like lasagna and a salad, beef sandwichs, chips and veggies, etc. We all bring a couple snacks to share. This has worked out really great for us. Have fun!

Love that! When everyone plans and brings a little, there is enough to go around! This crop is at a rental that is set up specifically for groups doing crops. I haven't been there before, but it sounds great. I'm hoping to make some new friends and make this a regular event:)

Do you need a bath towel or two. Have a wonderful time. The last time, I was on a crop was April 2013. Catherine Pooler was a Stampin Up Demo and she had a great Private member website. It was held in NC. We traveled 11 hours to get there.

Bath towel! Yes! Thank you:) Patty, that sounds amazing to crop with Catherine Pooler. Was it worth the drive? I bet you remember that event so well.
@Tinkerbell313263 жыл бұрын
@@MostlyPaperCrafts I do remember it well. Catherine knew how to do a crop. She had extremely talented people on her team that ran classes during it all.

I so excited for you to be going to a Crop!!! How fun. You are very well organized. I love what you do with your pictures. I never thought of putting them through the xyron. Course I forgot what app you used to make a collage. Thought it was funny that your kitty was getting on your desk. He sure seems to like it. Have a wonderful time, Hannah!!! Take care.
@MostlyPaperCrafts3 жыл бұрын
Hehe, yes kitty made many cameos this time! The app I use is called Pic Stitch. I think there are a lot of collage apps out there, but I've been using this one for many years and haven't found a reason to shop around. It's much easier to use when you are making one collage (as opposed to the 43 I made this week 😜).
@caroleanderson11063 жыл бұрын
Hi Hannah. I couldn't get Pic Stitch to work, so maybe it's not compatible with my Mac. Anyway, I got Instantane and have been able to collage some pictures. Thank you so much, and enjoy your crop holiday!!! Will be waiting for videos!

Loved watching this - and you are so organized, like me, which makes me happy LOL. And WOWEEEEEEEEE I love your pics and the way you do them! How very cool! As much as I would LOVE to go away for four days to scrap, I think after two, I would be homesick.... did that happen to you at all? Maybe I'm just too introverted.... LOL xo Vicky PS Your dogs are ADORABLE! What breed are they?
@MostlyPaperCrafts3 жыл бұрын
Hi Vicky, my pups are both Australian cattledog mixes, both rescues, and they are both little weirdos. I love them so very much:) I was not homesick at the crop this time; I think I REALLY needed a break.
