The KAM snap table press has been one of the best purchases I've made for my bag making journey and I want to share my experience with you. Do you own a KAM snap table press?

I enjoyed your video. I make similar cord keepers as well using the plastic snaps. I want to add the metal snaps to my inventory, so your video was helpful. I do, however, add my words, etc. before I add the backing piece. I also make my slits at this time as well. Then, as the last step, I slide a piece of vinyl as the backing piece and sew the final stitching that goes around the edges to join the top and bottom. This way there is just the plain backing that shows. Everything else is covered up. Embroidery garden has this free pattern if anyone is interested.

I make lots of the cord holders and use the free Embroidery Garden file. It has great step by step instructions that shows you to do them with a clean blank backside. So much more professional looking. Thank you for your tutorial.

Thank you for this thorough tutorial. I plan to buy one and this video will be so helpful. I know you’re not sponsored by them so I really appreciate your detail as it helped me decide on this brand instead of other brands available.

I love mine also, My husband bought mine for Birthday, Mothers Day, Anniversary, and Christmas. The only thing we both wish is that we could of bought one years ago. With four children making their clothes it would of been great. I made them their jeans as well.

I have a kamsnaps table press and many dies and the adapters. I love it and use it all the time. It is a game changer and a time saver for sure. I do not have the fashion metal snaps or dies and I want to purchase for purses, small wallets and pouches. I can't decide what size dies I need. What size do you use? 14, 20 or 24. Do I need to purchase all sizes? Thank you so much for your tutorial.

Hi! I've only used size 14 fashion metal snaps, and for what I understand, each size requires a different die for that size. I've been making bags and toiletries for years and I've only needed size 14, so I definitely think that is a good size to have available :)

Can it stamp letters on metal?

I’m not sure if Kamsnap sells that. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that on their website

They have pressing plates so you would have to have the letters I think

Great video, but for those who are interested in how to install the snap go to about the 12th minute of the video. The first portion is focused on the hole punch used on the material to get the needed hole...also useful, but just not the part I was interested in today.
