For the EEPROM Programmer part, it said the firmware download checksum failed, and apparently, the download corrupted and cannot flash.

I don't have Chromebook anymore but I have one coming from Ebay. I did notice the last time tried to change the firmware, I had a problem. Go to Reddit Cultrabook section see if others are having this problem. See if you can contact Coolstar or download again.

The common steps to turn on Developer Mode on Chromebook are: Turn off your ChromeBook. Holding Esc + Refresh (F3) buttons while pressing Power button. Then release Power Button. Your screen will display Recovery screen. Here, press Ctrl+D to turn on Developer mode. Then wait for couple of minutes.

I am not sure about that one, go to mrchromebox and see if yours is supported. Some of the somewhat newer chromebooks might not be supported.

Right before the 8 minute mark before uou turned the chromebook off i connected a external hard drive because i couldnt proceed without one and it says i need a number for firmware backup what does it mean?

I used the Dell 7310. If you go to Coolstar.org you should find a list of supported Dell Chromebooks.

Some Samsung chromebooks have ARM CPU's it might not work.

For some reason idk why but my chrome book only has 10gb. And I was wondering if I could use a sd card that has 8 gb on it and basically combine them as 18gb so I can try and download windows 10

When you start your Windows drive or DVD try using diskpart to get more room on your drive.
