Hi ! Wise, wise choice to use a leather belt instead of a chain one for your sporran ; even the well made ones will damage tartan fabric.

A friend of mine suggested it before I even started wearing them. So, I got one from the start. I tried a chain once but after going to the bathroom I said never again lol.
