I have thyme and made it grew for some time. Right now ( oct 8 ) i see little flowers beginning to form. What would be wise? Specialy because of the weather ? Thank you 🫶🏼

Do you think that thyme drink would have a rejuvenating effect on the thymus gland?

I'm not aware of any particular effect on the thymus or any of the endocrine organs. Curious where your line of thinking came from! Please share :)

@@roy-aishaworldoftanksconso9754 Ah! I see where your mind was going. There is the doctrine of signatures but that has more to do with the visible appearance of the plant. For example, if the leaves resembled the shape of the lungs... it was believed the plant would benefit the lungs.

That's exactly how I time my thyme, and tell my hubby thyme is time-consuming, after drying, taking the leaves off the thyme stem is time consuming 😊

I linked a recipe for an elixir in the post so that would be one nice way to use it. Personally I tincture it due to it's pungency, but you could make a tea with it as well.

Also I'm trying to learn how to make my own yoni steam blend I watched your last video about but was not sure of the measurements for each herb I don't have a scale.

@@angelalvarado1661 If you plan on working with herbs on a regular basis a basic digital kitchen scale will be invaluable. You will find yourself using it all the time! In general you can say equal portions but we aware of the fact that roots/bark (as an example) will weight a lot more than the flower portion of a herb. So for example, 1/4 cup of witch hazel bark will be much heavier than the same amount of lavender flowers.

You'll have to watch my video on explaining the different pronunciations depending if you were educated using Americanized English (where the "h" is silent) or British English (where the "h" is very much pronounced. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXayqISNjrySetE As a Canadian, and therefore technically a member of the British commonwealth, I was educated using British pronunciation. This is also common in New Zealand, Australia and of course, Britain. Hope that clears up any confusion you may have :)
