@elitzad 1 second ago Yes, please make more new skills videos. I love seeing new techniques being made. It helps to appretiate the craftsmanship and puts in perspective how much time it takes for even the small details on garments...

I think blackwork is gorgeous, I just haven't had the courage to give it a go yet as I hate using hoops. I will try to embroider some cuff bindings on my new chemise and see how it goes. More little projects please!
@anotherdreamgonewest Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I’ve heard blackwork can be done without a hoop since you’re essentially just doing either a running or a back stitch, but I think a hoop would keep the whole thing tidier (although I agree- hoops are such a pain!)

I have also been procrastinating an outfit from this time period because I want to include blackwork and haven’t learned it (I have on a cross stitch project but…) also smocking lol

Thank you for the interesting and beautiful blackwork video. Can you tell me who makes your embroidery clamp? I have been looking everywhere for one and your style seems a good fit. I would like one that I can flip to the back if needed, and the ones I've seen online don't have that ability.
