Nice video made, Elivaras! I have a question btw, what happened if the opponents see you are leading and wiped out your entire otters, while u still have 6 funds left in commitments (plus 2 for protectionism next turn). Won't you just recruit, or mine thru the cards to find craftable items left?

Great question Boom! It can really depend. If you already have a bunch of trade posts out and there are a lot of good craftable items available, I'd recommend drawing through the deck and and then crafting. Usually I do not like spending funds on recruiting, and ONLY do so if it provides an immediate benefit. Examples include recruiting a warrior or two to snatch some cardboard in a river clearing, or getting enough warriors to trade post. But you want to be wary of spending 2, and very very careful about spending 3 to recruit. It wipes out a huge amount of your actions, and your otterball will likely be killed again the next turn so the value probably isn't very high. If you're really far ahead, the hope is that you have a good few TPs down and a decent amount of funds from other factions. That way you can mostly subsist off drawing and crafting, and ideally slowly building your otterball up again via dropping TPs along the river (using your own funds if the clearings have very low warriors, or other faction funds if not). That said, don't drop TPs JUST to get warriors on the board unless you either A) need the TP to craft, or B) need the warrior for something immediately/next turn. Lmk if that answers your question!

@@elivaras Thank you for your exhaustive answer ! I think it will be easier to pictured when I am in real practice again. Most of the time the items are mostly crafted. Finding that last 10-8 points is challenging while the others is racing up from 15-18 while I am at 20+.

@@doubleocbh Ideally the last 8-10 points are what you get from dropping tradeposts. Or at least 6+ of them. If you are stringent in how you spend your funds early, you'll find it's not uncommon to be able to burst 8 points on your final turn for the win.
