30:09 Just to write it down, here's how you can set up DPE and Revolt with Rescue Cat : - Summon Kitt and Kerass via Rescue Cat's effect ; - Link Summon Ferrijit with Kitt and Kerrass. Activate Kitt's effect to dump Nervall in the GY which you can activate his effect afterwards to add Kerass to your hand ; - Activate Kerrass' effect if you have another Tri-Type or a Zoodiac monster you can discard to Special Summon it, then activate his second effect to Link Summon Bearbrumm by banishing the Tri-Type/Zoodiac and the Rescue Cat you've sent to the GY earlier. If you already have Fusion Destiny, then you can finish your combo faster ; - From there, you can Link Summon Verte Anaconda using Ferrijit and Kerrass. Activate Verte's effect first to Fusion Summon DPE ; - And now, you can finish your combo by activating DPE's effect to destroy himself (or Verte if you want to play it safe) and Bearbrumm to get the Revolt. Keep in mind you'll be in Nibiru's range if you use Rescue Cat's effect. If it happens, you'll have a hard time to recover even with Revolt.

The Zoo line is so good. Opening a zoo and a tri-brig on hand gives access to Pop 1, Banish 1, then end on DPE + Revolt.

What are your thoughts on Tri-Brigade Rendezvous? I’ve been using it for a few days and really like it. I often find myself not actually needing to send a card off of Kitt and this gives his effect some value. I also will sometimes be like 1-2k off of lethal if my opponent resolved any interruptions while I’m going for game and it can also solve that problem. I’m considering dropping the Rescue Cat engine so I’ve been looking for non-hand trap replacements for it.

Earlier played a game against dpe variant of tribrigade with my post dpe build since I don't like dpe It came really close with solemn judgment coming in clutch to stop the fusion spell card and desperat doom eagle sending it back to deck from gy when he predaplanted to make it. I'm just saying that you don't need dpe in every deck so as to be good

Idk why this deck is tier 1 really. Do I just counter it damn hard with Omni negates or why is it that I feel the first turn board is so shitty once revolt is negated. I’ve seen it for ages on mdm but I just OTK any zoo-tri player. Is this rlly any better than the lyrilusc version?

Hi Lex, I played the Tri-Zoo deck till diamond 2... I still find matchup against swordsoul and some deck very hard to beat, because of all those hand traps that can break your combo over and over. Any suggestions on how to overcome the meta?

Dude, you are the one who are supposed to have more hand traps to stop them from even setting up their board... Tri's Sword Soul matchup it's decently favourable. You got to learn how to use the hand traps properly to get the most value, that's a skill worth learning and can be applied to any deck.

I think I might switch my focus back to either this deck or Prank-Kids next season. I have a Despia Dogmatika Shaddoll deck built too, I just haven’t gotten around to using it for anything and I can’t figure out my ratios with the new support. Drytron has just felt so inconsistent lately that I kinda want a break from it. I think part of it has to do with everyone knowing exactly when/where to counter it in the higher ranks. Adding in the DPE garnets doesn’t exactly help either. I’m hoping that’s not the case with my other decks. I haven’t tested much since DPE released besides Thunder Dragons and Drytron. I haven’t noticed much of a hit to consistency in Thunders, but I definitely felt it in Drytron. The Thunder v Swordsoul matchup is so rough that I haven’t had much motivation to play it lately though.

Another awesome video! I have a question, If you open Tenki+Kitt/nerval isn't it just better to search a fracktal and go into DPE + revolt this way, since the end board is the same and you get to keep your zoodiacs?

It's true that a lot of the time you can simply search Fraktall, but there are a few cases where this line could come in handy.!If I open Fraktall + Kitt/Nervall + Tenki I like to use Fraktall as Ash bait; if it resolves great, if not we can move into this line. This line also plays around Ash better if you highly suspect they're holding the Ash for Fraktall when you activate Tenki.

you are probably using bearbrumm as material, if you search for revolt with him you can't special summon monsters except tri-brigade

Bearbrumm effect likely is the reason you can't fusion with verte. As when its sent to the grave, besides helping you search for revolt, it also locks you into tri-brigades

When I summon verte it doesn’t allow me to use its second effect. I have all the cards I need to use it in the deck but it never allows me to activate it.

Did you use Bearbrumm as a material to make Verte? If you use Bearbrumm to search Revolt, you can only special summon Tri-Brigades for the rest of the turn, so if Bearbrumm was used as a material to make Verte that would explain it. That's why you need to summon Bearbrumm first, then make DPE, then destroy the Bearbrumm with DPE.

To go into DDL on turn 1 you generally need to open with Revolt or a lot of Tri-Brigade/tri-Type monsters. But let's say you do open Revolt alongside Fraktall + Any Tri-Brigade monster, you can make DDL instead of Bearbrumm and then just set the Revolt from your hand. The thing you have to remember though is that DDL will occupy one of your main monster zones, so if you want to Revolt for Shuraig you have to get rid of DDL first. It can be tricky to pull off but useful in the right situation.

Apollousa + Revolt (and The Ancient Warrior link 2 sometimes) endboard >>> DPE + Revolt endboard. DPE in Tri-Zoo is good only for turn 2 or a way to go if everything u did in turn 1 goes wrong.

Pure punks are basically still just halq-don setup. But i feel you can run PUNKs as an engine which can setup a monster negate with the punk trap and help you setup a number of bodies on field. Tho you'd need space for 6 cards for the key punks in the engine, this is excluding the copies of emergency teleport you'd want to make the engine more consistent

I love all your videos for Tri Zoodiac, but I'm still struggling to play the deck optimally. The amount of combos and flexibility it require knowledge and understanding of opponent and the deck mechanic is just insanely overwhelming for a returning player like my self to keep up after i stop playing since 5D's. May I asked, is Ap.USA no longer a great option for this deck, if DPE is available? I'm still building the deck and is currently not sure to craft or not for those cards.

Apollusa isn't a bad option for the deck by any means, it's more that the combos that allow you to go into DPE on turn 1 are the same that let you go into Apollusa. Between the two DPE tends to be better on turn 1, but you could also drop Hraesvelgr or even DDL from the Extra Deck instead of Apollusa if you wanted to.

We have 3 of the same meta decks. Between tri zoo, adamancipator, and swordsoul whats your favorite? I still think adamancipator is the most powerful but i could honestly see a case for swordsoul or tri zoo being stronger

I actually think that Swordsoul and Tri-Zoo are both a bit stronger than Adamancipators, though I will say that Adamans are being under represented in the current format because they don't play any of the new cards.
