Excelent video! You are a great teacher and I so appreciate your effort and generosity in sharing your knowledge and experience. Some of my ceramics students are making ocarinas, but we are struggling a little with the structure. This model you propose is pretty strait forward and well within the average skill in clay working they already have. I am confident they will be able to make one like this. Thank you so much!

Ever have a weird and crazy idea but, not the time or talent to even try? I had an idea for a wind powered whistle/chime. Basically, it's a weather vane that captures air to drive whistles and mechanics, valve control scroll or something, ha ha ha. Steam Punk, is victorian brass. This would have to be Egyptian Alien or something. Mobil art.

+James Elger I believe the Egyptians, had clay fired pneumatic motors. Yup, air powered rotary motors, even water powered, powerful versions.
