When I first started 5 years ago, I even used empty egg crates to put those little bags in.. I thought I had a lot boxes now but you have me beat and I love them! 😍 TY

For those who work out of baggies (or in my case, use small baggies for long-term storage), you can get them to easily "stand up" in a storage box by cutting a 3x5 index card in half and sticking it down in the baggie. I use baggies for long-term storage and keep them in very long business card boxes. I have every single DMC color (well, as of 3 yrs ago) in both round and square and have every one of them stored in small baggies, with the half index card, in 6 of the long business card plastic boxes I found on Amazon. I believe they are designed to store 500 business cards, but for the drills/diamonds I can put about 100-200 per box depending of course on the number of drills per baggie. I have used this system for years and haven't needed to change a thing.

I am new to diamond painting. I just started my first one yesterday. It took me hours to separate all the diamonds into the little bags. I ordered the purple case in this video with the round containers and the kit. Hoping it's a good one. Thanks for this video!

Thank you for taking the time to go over all of these container systems. I love the bigger tic-tacs and the round containers the best. I had same problem with Harbor Freight.

I am still trying out different storage systems. I think my favorite is the large tic-tak containers in the clear box. I have a set where the large tic-tak containers are in a fancy padded “suitcase”…..much prefer the simple case.

Love this video Lisa! I have purchased many of these storage systems also. I still think my favorites are the black cases and the butterfly cases with all the bottles. I had to order that adorable gold trunk with the large tic tac containers.

I'm going to stick with the smoky 30 little cubes inside container. I bought about 10 of them so I never have to not see them available on Amazon! The Elizabth Ward ones are no longer being sold, they are not sure of their availability. I bought a set of ALL the rough & square drills, I think 200 each. I bought the storage cases that slide unto each other. They have either the round bottles, which the newer cases have, or the tic tac ones that came ou first. I have the round drills all in the tic tac and the square drills in the round bottles. The tic tac ones are made so cheap, the tops fitting loose on some of them, I wouldn't invest my frugal money in any tic tac containers anymore. I LOVE the round bottles. You always have a secure fitting. I have several of the printed and plain black hard case zippered cases with round bottles and the netted back. They are worth the extra money! And I will always stick t the smoky colored cases since you first showed them last year. Thank you for always showing us ALL there is to choose from! With the little extra money most of us have...we have to get the MOST for the LEAST amount of money we spend! Thanks, Lisa!

I have to admit that Harbor Freight are and probably always will be my favorite. I love how much they hold. I bought mine a few years ago, and they were $5 each. I bought 4 for myself. I have friends in Canada who I sent some to as well.

LOL @ the Harbor Freight containers... I have a funny story. When those became soooo popular 2-3 years ago for diamond painting, I went to my local Harbor Freight and bought about 5 of them. The cashier dude was scanning them through and said, "Is there something I don't know about these? We can't keep them on the shelves and, no offense ma'am... but it's women buying them all?". I explained (briefly) Diamond Painting and the YT community to him - and a girl working the other register said, "OMG I diamond paint and NEVER even thought of using those... uhh... did you leave any?". LMAO!

I have an entire system for my spare round, square, ABs and special drills in photo boxes with labels for each color. I followed Rebecca from 4kidsat147. She has a whole playlist showing how she made the system. But it’s a little involved so if you only have a few leftover drills at this point, it’s probably overkill at this point. I would do a search for “what to do with your leftover diamond painting drills” here on KZbin and you’ll get a bunch of suggestions.
