Oh, and Northernlion, there are new enemies introduced pretty much every floor, which results in really hectic rooms later on. And bosses are(from what I can tell) much like Isaac with a different possible grouping each 2 floors. So once you start going farther, you'll see plenty more variety flow its way into the game enemy-wise.

Note: on the skull boss, sometimes a spider will get stuck halfway into the elevator. This can be remedied by just shooting around the base of the elevator. You will kill the spider eventually.

Grenade Launcher + Gum + Skull = Win. The tentacle and wings are useful for avoiding your own explosions.

When the boss elevator didn't open up, there was a spider which had clipped through the elevator XD That same glitch actually happened to me while playing, and I had to use a bomb to get out. You could see it hit you and take your armor down when you were standing near the elevator. I have yet to run into the glitch of rooms just not opening which I have heard of, just that situation where there was a clipped enemy. Regardless, I wouldn't mind seeing a series on this, fun game to play and watch!

You guys want an LP of this? Maybe it'll be cool, but think of all the people who squirm when he misses a bomb or key in Isaac. This game makes it even more likely for him to miss stuff like that.

To be fair, Northernlion is pretty well known for Isaac. I mean, somewhere between 1/2 and 1/3 of all his recent video uploads are Isaac. If you're familiar with Northernlion, you're probably pretty familiar with isaac.

Paranautical Activity gives me wicked motion sickness for whatever reason, so I don't think I'd watch a mini-series myself. Still, the game seems pretty neat, it's going to do really well when the final build comes out.

For me the problem isn't so much that he's referencing it. My problem is more... "we get it, you like binding of isaac, there is more than one roguelike in the world, find a more accurate one to compare to." he even mentioned Spelunky for a second in there, so I know he's played more xD That said, a first-person roguelike... This is a dream come true, I am SO buying the Be Mine 8 Indie Bundle now!

Definitely would enjoy watching you do a "Let's Play" of this game. At least a short one, where you finish the game once or twice. I don't think this game has the lasting appeal of Isaac as a huge series, because Isaac gets you hooked with all of the unlockables/secrets/collection, and I this game looks like it doesn't have that. Hopefully it will in the finished game. Another game I wouldn't mind watching you play through, and I know a bunch of other people wanted you to was "Teleglitch."

Well, considering that Northernlion is mostly known for his Isaac series, AND The Binding of Isaac is a very well-known game on the indie scene, I think that it is fair to compare them. It's kinda like getting upset when he compares a game to Super Meat Boy, another well-known indie game.
