Ram’s decline comes down to stagnant innovation, poor pricing strategies, and fierce competition. While Ford, GM, and Tesla rolled out new tech and EV options, Ram lagged behind. Ford’s F-Series saw a 21% rise in Q4 sales, GM’s Silverado grew 3.4%, and the GMC Sierra saw a 10% increase, with the Sierra EV starting deliveries in late 2024 and quickly gaining traction in the market. Tesla’s Cybertruck is ramping up production with a projected 125,000 units annually. Meanwhile, Ram’s sales dropped by 15%. The growth in EV trucks like the Ford F-150 Lightning (+10%), Chevrolet Silverado EV (+391%), and the GMC Sierra EV is reshaping the market, and Ram’s slow adoption of electric models has hurt them. Their reliance on premium trims alienated budget-conscious buyers, and leadership issues at Stellantis didn’t help. They need serious innovation, especially in the EV space, to stay relevant. Three- four years ago GM and Ford had empty parking lots while RAM dealers had stock. Now you’re seeing the market correction.

15 % off of crappy 2023 sales isn’t anything to be proud of.
