Thank you so very much for watching. You can use an intact elastic if you can streatch it onto the circumferance of the loom just befor you are ready to fold over and close the casing.

Hi Andrea! It depends on how wide you want the scrunchie to be. The larger ones that I did are between 13 and 15 rows. If you want it thinner, just loom knit enough rows for you to be able to fold it over on itself. 🌻🧶🧶

Hi Angela! The yarn that I used is Charisma Yarn by Loops & Threads. The color I demonstrated with is called Cherry Blossom. This yarn brand is a Michaels brand but is also sold at Amazon and some Walmarts. Thank you for the lovely comment. 🌻🧶🧶

What weight of yarn to you advise for a scrunchie? Bulky? #5, #6? I love your videos!!

Hi Carol Jean! I believe that a #5 weight is ideal. How ever if the person has really thick hair then a #6 will work beautifully too. The yarn that I am using in the video is Loops and Threads Charisma #5 (This is the Michaels brand). I like it because it feels like a cotton (it is acrylic) and doesn’t seem harsh on the hair. 🌻🌻🌻🧶
