My man I feel you on that one. In fact, I've got a video planned that is ALL about that mess. People will jump on claiming your video (and they don't get a portion of ad revenue - they get 100% ad revenue from your video). I've had so many claimed - even when it's just a brief clip with no original music or audio - and it gets FRUSTRATING really quick. Glad you got it worked out!

Hey T-Nu, love your channel, so here's a thank-you present :) I've been making a living out of polyester resin for 30 years, and last year I thought of a simple but effective time-saver. You use wooden stirring sticks, yeah? (Here in the UK we call them "lollipop sticks"). They have rounded ends, yeah? ...and the bottom of your mixing cup/bowl is flat, yeah? Well cut off one end of the stick with wire snips ... now you can scrape a flat end against a flat surface, and you have a corner on the stick to get into the corners of your bowl. Really, try it, takes one second to do and makes your mixing twice as efficient. Spread the word :)

Nice Steve! I am definitely going to give that a try! I want to do another tips and tricks video about molding and casting and maybe that will make the cut. I'll let everyone know who I got the idea from if I ever get around to making that video... Thanks!!!

I think this was a pretty cool series and wouldn't mind more content like this. that said, Im just happy to be along for the ride and have enjoyed all the content you've done so far, so you do you. also, that ending sequence was hilarious!

Thank you. That sequence almost got dropped because I was down to the wire on it. I'm glad I kept it. Thanks!

I think the dad lines are so funny because that is really how older Cajun folks talk. Mais, he's funny cher. Great work t-nu. Our whole family watched over dinner and laughed and enjoyed it.

Well done ! I made a lot of stop motion movies, sometimes with over 10 characters in a scene, it helps if you make notes about every single movement. As a camera, I mostly use a DSLR with a fully machined lens to have maximum control.
@CajunCraftastrophe3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Wow 10 characters, that's crazy! Yeah, there's so much more that I could do with this technique to make it look better but I'm starting off slow. I certainly like the aspect of showing what can be done with very cheap products as long as you know the parameters of what you're working with. If you're trying to make a film that looks like Coraline or Corpse Bride... well, it will be a disappointing result for sure! : )

I loved every second of that film and loved every second of the whole video very informative can’t wait to get some more information from you I’m also in the middle of learning how to do stop animation and working on other types of video recording sounds and etc. looked like I’m gonna have to become a Patreon supporter of you too. Sorry I missed your premier I was busy with the wife spending quality time watching Sweet tooth on Netflix

Gotta spend that QT. I'll cover some more sound stuff. Oh boy, I could do a lot of tutorials on that - I LOVE sound. It truly is the pixie dust that brings out the magic. The way to do it is to do it. I did not go to film school... unless you count the school of hard knocks. Thanks!

T-Nu, I was pondering over your light flicker dilemma. And while I pondered, I wondered, possibly a white, or off white/cream blackout curtain over that window, and use it to bounce steady diffused light onto the filming set? Might be a reasonable investment if you think it will work :)
@CajunCraftastrophe3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I like the light bounce idea, that's a good one! I do have some blackout curtains but I just haven't used it on any KZbin projects that I've shown yet. I actually like the flicker on a project like this - it feels retro. I just wanted to make sure that people who are unfamiliar with stop-motion understand this principle. It could be confusing to some who would watch their first playback and be like, "Why are my lights not consistent?"

That was 1000 times better than anything on netfix, very funny love the writing. How soothing to watch you throw the space ship in slo-mo to Blue Danube, I could watch all day but I have some carving to do, thanks for some inspiration this morning please make more movies(and how to).

Outstanding stuff. I thought I had an idea of what it took to produce content like this, but quite obviously, I was wrong. And that includes the stuff I WAS right about. There in the middle, you asked if we'd like to see more content like this, and I'm all on board- but don't forget to just SHOW us what we're gonna get to watch- it's your talent and creativity that'll keep us all coming back. Had no idea what a frog ramp was, and I've been hooked on your channel ever since. That being said, keep up the superb work, and enjoy the rest of your week- you truly are a man of many talents.

Thanks Robby! I am not exaggerating when I say that I could make 20 videos on this little subject and still not cover it all... but everyone would pass out in boredom! : ) Thanks again!
