Another great video! Thanks, Kelley! I didn't know the tip about not sewing the sides of the box for the sipper. Will have to try that. Thanks again.

I agree that concealing the zipper tape is desirable. That is the method I use. But, thanks for explaining the parallel line, rather than the traditional box method of sewing on the facing. I am the kind of learner that needs to understand WHY something is done. Thanks again. Great video

Kelley, I have a question about your Lola lining piece. I notice that the bottom of the piece is cut on either side shorter than the middle of the bottom piece. I have the pattern but it doesn’t show that. Is their an update on the Lola? I hope I explained that right.

Hi Kelley, you verbally mention that you place your inside pocket zipper facing (from the Dome Center) an inch and a half. But in looking at the actual ruler, it looks like 2-inches. Can you clarify which is better/you use. Thanks so much (This series is very helpful.)

Are the measurements you draw different depending on whether you’re using #3 or #5 zippers?
@sewkelley Жыл бұрын
I only use #5 zippers so if you use #3, you may wish to take a larger SA.

Thank you so much for your video you make it look so easy. Are you using nylon zipper?
@sewkelley5 жыл бұрын
For the zipper pocket, yes (continuous #5 tape). I do use #12 metal zips (pre purchased) for my Lola's.

Great video and technique. Do you use 1/8” Skor? I see different sizes on Amazon and if so do you other sizes as well?
@sewkelley5 жыл бұрын
Yes, the 1/8th. I don't see a need for the other sizes.
