I have this pattern and made it in denim and upholstery fabric to be the top of a floor cushion. I had to increase the seam allowance and it made the pattern tricky to follow. Watching the way you put together and pieces the block was so helpful and everything came out perfectly! I love your videos! Wish I was even on the same continent as your store 😊

Thanks, Donna. It’s a great table topper with a fairly complex design. Thanks for your great tutorial, though. I think I’m going to make this for either fall or Christmas decor, but I’m busy right now sewing quilts for my granddaughters, all five of them! So I don’t know if I can work the time for it in. So it could be spring before I get around to it.Lol.

I absolutely love this pattern. On the video, I had trouble 'seeing' the pattern. All I could 'see' were the white & light blue squares. I love the blue print and think a darker blue might have accented the star better. I hope you will make another. I'm an unwilling quilter - I started quilting so I could teach "Learning to Quilt" classes. Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I have learned so much and have passed your website and video information on to all my students.

For Quilt batting and the "sandwich"method in small spaces, look up Quilting with Jeanne, How to Baste Quilt. This was huge for me in figuring out how to get that sandwich together with no place to lay it out, plus I have carpet mostly. Pool noodles from the dollar store would work good too, w pvc pipe. Genius video... Barb from AZ
