I bought a leather sandal pattern from Etsy. I have watched your videos over and over and it's really helping me tweak it and understand how it all comes together. I have some growing to do. I have taken your advice by writing down my steps and what I can do better.

I am very new to leather working and really I am in no position to give advice about most anything in the craft. However, I have used Tandy leather needles as well as John James .002 needles and I would encourage you to give the John James a try...you will never look back! They are so thin eyed and smooth and glide right through the leather. Give them a try, you will be happy you did!

I have been wanting to make my own sandals for so long. Classes here in NYC are so expensive. While watching these videos, I’m gathering all the tools and materials I need between amazon, eBay and Tandy. Thank you soooo much for this. I’m so excited. These videos are fantastic!!!
