Do you ever use slab molds to produce lots of a particular batch?

I am wondering if you can do anything with resin castings that don't turn out/are beyond repair. Are they just garbage, or can you use them in a different way? Thanks!

I'm curious if you could speak to the advantage of using alcohol ink vs translucent ink? Is it the fact that the alcohol ink "mixes itself"? I'm also curious. If you use just a little tiny bit of mica powder can you achieve the iridescent look while keeping some transparency?

I've noticed in dice making videos when people add alcohol ink it begins to spread out but mine just stays together until I stir it. Any idea why that happens?

Newbie caster question: Is it ok to measure A and B into the same cup at once? I've been doing that, and I always use up part B more quickly than part A, because I pour it second. So far my cures seem to be solidifying just fine, but I would super love the input of someone more experienced. It looked like you measured both parts in the same cup at once in this video, but I wasn't certain o,o

The graduations on the silicone cups are not accurate. It's the bottom of the scale that is off. Pour a known about of water from say, 25ml from a medical syringe, into the silicone cup. It does not come up to the 25ml mark.

Do you let the resin sit until it’s got a honey-like viscosity before starting the pour? Or do you just go for it as soon as the base colour is done mixing? These look great! Would definitely appreciate a video about demolding, I recently had my first number tear out of a mold a couple of days ago and I’m SO SAD about it. So I’d love to see how you do it!

It does depend on the set a little bit, but 90% of my sets, I pour as soon as I'm done mixing the base.

@@d20love Yeah, resin tends to be really fickle about heat. Pain in the rump during winter.
