Kinda: I was taught by one of my chefs that Chinese cuisine has the 3 textures in addition to western 5 (6?) flavors. Considering these is an crucial part of developing dishes. tip - cook the syrup until it gets a yellowish colour Tip - after you're done making tangulu add water in the pot and boil it. It will be easier to clean Tip - don't stir it until it get a yellowish colour
