The insulbrite should have been in the middle of the 2 cotton pieces You put it on the outside though would be fine the person consistently uses it from the same side but that's not realistic

I love using these pot holders when handling cast iron pots or dutch oven or glass casserole dishes straight from the oven or out of the microwave.Or sometimes just for decor. Thanks for the demo. Too cute

Don't tell us WHAT KIND of plain cotton batting or anything, I've NO idea what to buy, particularly online where I can't look at it first. Without that information this video is ABSOLUTELY USELESS.

You can see cotton batting at the store. Usually comes in a bag, like rolls of polyester does.

No idea what this is or how it holds a pot. It tlooks like a heat protector which are usually round and you put your pot on it to keep the table from getting burnt. I have no idea what this is. Maybe you use it in your hand to hold the handle? Never even heard of this thing

This is not for the pot to rest on, but to protect the hands like you said. Sounds like a difference in word usage. Trivet = something to put hot pans on Pot holder = something to hold hot pans (like an oven mitt)
