I have some of the cow faux suede in my stash - and I love it but when it came time to sew it up I couldn't come up with an idea. I can't wait to see yours. I love all of your fabric and pattern pairings!! Don’t be afraid of zippers with knits. Any two sided fusible works well. I don’t like stabilizing knits with fusible tape (except for zippers) and I prefer a 3/8 inch width. I use, used dryer sheets. I know it’s tedious, but I like the repurpose of it. They don’t gunk up the iron and are very light weight. I serge the cut strips with the fabric pieces. I’ve even employed my coworkers to bring me their used sheets. I sew more knits than I do woven fabric and fiddling with the differential feed of my serger drives me crazy.

Yes, zippers with knits do need stabilizer. Thank you for your tips. I do prefer sewing with knits. The fabrics are so forgiving with sizing and I also sew more with knits. I'm so glad you enjoyed my pairings. Have a great weekend!

@sewlovelywithgrace it's similar to Gabardine , with thin vertical lines & comes in a lot of beautiful colors , I think it's much more prettier than Gabardine , it's real flowey , you can make dresses & jackets out of it , it's more closer to a cotton type fabric , I thought it was Gabardine at first , but it's not and so did the lady I bought it from , I got 3 yards for less than $12.00 cranberry color , real pretty fabric ♥️😊

You could make leggings and full length sleeve tight fit sweater...to wear as a sun safe and jelly fish safe swimsuit.

grace... don't listen to sallie I believe your channel will do better I'd it were nuteral tones... modern patterns... and a bit of casual ware... casual such as "lizard king - styla taos" a sweater, and some jumpsuits....some fake channelle and Gucci Versace fabric items... teach the cheap way....
