A PPC is indeed the most important thing to have in order to travel.

I think your Wolverine friend is going to be fine there. He's probably going to be able to stand up no worries (though I think the Wolverine has a cramped cockpit?) and he's got buildings for cover if he fails. The Locust has few worries though, only one structure left on it's leg and it has no arms so standing back up is harder! Seems like the fight is off to a decent enough start!

Try the lower right corner of the screen just above the Move/End Turn button for your "radar", it doesn't block anything important, and keeps your unit info screens viewable. I've gotten in the habit of using the Next Unit button to cycle my units. A couple near clicks on end movement with wonky movement almost occurred from using Right Click select on your allied units, as you may have wonky movement from a previously selected, and accidentally click end movement on that unit that you didn't move properly. Great job so far!

I pretty much end up just closing the minimap altogether and start doing the next unit as well. In the next episode I find a handy tool that lets me quick zoom to a specific unit which is useful for getting your initial bearings.

I'm pretty sure you can change the unit camo for your allies and enemies on the contract in MekHQ so you don't have to do it every time!

I believe so as well and I did. However I think since this mission was generated before I made that change it didnt take effect this time but it should in future missions and I'll remember to do it for future contracts.

8:55 you wonder how hot is 35° "in real world". May I remember you that metric system is used in every country in the (real)world except USofA and Libéria ? ;) Just joking, I love your work, but as a french wargamer obliged to contend with imperial units in a looot of games, that's a little vengeance ;)

I forgot to do it but I intended for Gooball to pop up and tell us what the temperature was in Rankine when I said that :D I like to tease when it comes to metric as the differences in everyday use of metric or Imperial is just a cultural difference. I wont go into a whole lot of detail now but situationally I like Metric and Imperial both. For the most part I can do some quick shotgun math to do conversions. a meter is basically a yard so if something is 2 meters I know it is 6 feet. 2 kilometers is approximately a mile. When it comes to temperature I just cant relate to Celsius and basically only know 0 is frozen water and 100 is boiling water. For me to wrap my head around ambient temperature I have to convert it to Fahrenheit in order for it to be relatable to my everyday. Oddly enough when it comes to fluid or volume measurements, outside of Gallons, my "real world" measurement is Metric.

@@QuestingTruck I'm private pilot, we have maps in Nautical miles, the cessna has badin in MPH (state miles per hour), altitude in feet, maps of airstrip in Meters, fuel pump in litres and plane tank in gallons. Crazy stuff
