​@@rockchik409Their romance-arcs do work incredibly well together. The story-beats you loose from the origin you play are basically mirrored in the romance plot of the other, so you can easily imagine the same character-developement that you'd normally get. Some, spoilery space. I mean, in Act 2 Gale usually needs Tav to tell him that he as a person is valuable. Astarion's confession of affection does that with the force of a sledgehammer. Especially with the admission, that he changed his mind from simply seeing the PC as a powerful tool before, it is a nice transition for Gale to realise that he might be more than a wizard to someone. Astarion wants to be more than a body, Gale needs to be more than a mind.
