Hey, great tutorial. I was wondering what do you do to preserve your paintings and how do you store them?
@LetsMakeArt4 жыл бұрын
Because the paints Sarah uses are not light-fast-but allow for such bright vibrant colors- she scans and keeps digital versions of her paintings. The rest often end up stacked under her desk as she is painting and creating new work several times a week.

The technical term for the nose ring is alar cartilage. They don’t sound like horse or a donkey. It is more of a bark/laugh all their own.

I loved this one. I purposely have not attempted a Zebra because you can so easily get lost drawing the stripes. Now I think I might try it. I do have a question about Let's Make Art shipping charges, I am chomping at the bit to try your paints but the shipping is a lot to Canada. Does Let's Make Art every do a promotional thing ever to help with that?
@LetsMakeArt4 жыл бұрын
Hi Paula! You've got this when it comes to the zebra. Stripes can get confusing but practicing will help you get there. International shipping is crazy isn't it. At this time we have not done a promotion for discounted international shipping but I can bring that up and see if it is something we could do in the future.

Hi, i have a question and I'm really qurious to know the answer, why do we get white watercolor in a set?
@LetsMakeArt4 жыл бұрын
White watercolor can be used on black paper, or if you want to mix with other colors to create a more in depth shade. Dandelion Paint co paints that we use do not come with white. When you do see white in one of our kits or projects it is more often Gouache or Bleed Proof White. These can be used as an opaque paint in combination with your watercolors.
@renujha63734 жыл бұрын
Watercolors are transparent, which means white watercolor would also be transparent and it's won't pop much on black paper
@hagoodd4 жыл бұрын
I just did my outline and I’m getting these long lines coming from my graphite paper. I started over and it happened again. Do you keep your graphite paper folded or flat? Im not sure what I’m doing wrong.
@hagoodd4 жыл бұрын
Do you store it flat or folded? I’ve been storing it folded.
@LetsMakeArt4 жыл бұрын
We generally store ours folded. One trick to help wit hthose lines is to crumble your paper. Yes, I know that sounds crazy. Crumble your paper up helps lift it off of the paper a bit. Also use it more. The more you use your paper the better it will get. If you are getting lines you do not want or your lines are too dark you can sometimes lift a little bit of it with a kneaded rubber eraser.
@hagoodd4 жыл бұрын
Let's Make Art I’ll try crumpling it up and try to keep using the same sheet instead of grabbing one of the newer ones. Thanks so much for the response.
