This is absolutely adorable!! I got your watercolor brushes, but that has a default paper texture, do you think the illustrations will look as good on that texture instead of the backrun texture used here?

Thank you so much 🥰 Some projects require certain textures in order to turn out, but for this project I think the backrun texture isn't critical and the regular texture is fine 🙏

Hi Calvin. Is there anyway to get your watercolour papers and brushes for photoshop/fresco?

Hi 😁 I think the papers are possible, they definitely work with Photoshop, but the brushes aren't compatible. Most of my creative background is with Photoshop and I just haven't found the brush system to work nearly as well as the procreate system. I think they really approach digital brushes in a very different way. Fresco is interesting and it looks similar to procreate but I don't have it and I haven't tested it 🤔 I'm really curious to try fresco though. If you want any brush files or texture files to try, you can message me on Etsy and I can send something you can experiment with and we can try to find a solution. In my opinion, most of the watercolor effect is coming from the texture, so if you can get that to work you might be really happy with whatever brushes you already use in fresco/Photoshop

I used an abstract round brush that used to paint pots in the video, but I think it's completely different from the video. Do you know why? My brush color is very light. Is it because I didn't use Backrun Texture?

hi! I can't darken my cat's leg at 3:25, it can be brightened but not darkened, I made sure I'm on the right layer and I followed your steps, what am I doing wrong?

Hi! Can you show me a screenshot? You can attach them in the chat thing on Etsy ☺️ my first guess is that the cat isn't dark enough because it's highly transparent. So when you try to darken it, it's not affecting it because the real reason it's not dark enough already is the transparency. To fix this, you can duplicate the cat layer so you have 3 copies, then merge them together. This will lower the transparency and give the brightness adjustment more color to work with.

Hi!! I bought it at the grocery store, I think it's artico brand? It was in a spiral bound booklet like how Canson usually sells it. In fact I think Canson multimedia paper would work really well 🤔 it's just like watercolor paper but it's cheaper because the pulp quality is much lower.
