This guy looks GREAT, the best KDM you painted so far imo.

Thanks, I'm currently looking to squeeze in time for the king. Hopefully you will dig that one too.

Thanks for putting out these videos. I am trying to learn to paint and your instructions are informative.

Thank you so much for the praise. I've been thinking of repainting my core game monsters so be sure to check for them in the future. Hopefully I can pass on some more easy tips.

More KIngdom Death Monster would be awesome. I picked it up and more than a little intimidated by the prospect of painting the models. Your videos are great ideas and your skill really shows.

I'm always up for seeing more KD painting. I've spent this evening building Atnas, and was looking for painting examples for ideas.

Great work! I'm loving everyone's gambler's chest stuff but this is my favourite painting video so far. You really capture the horror of the model without going over the top. Would love to see what you make of the croc

Thank you so much for your comment. I have been loving everyone's gamblers as well. The croc will be second on the list, I'm working on a vaporware inspired gambler right now for the next video. Thanks again for watching

I'm never intimidated with that silky smooth voice, even if Krampaclause is the subject matter.

another thought on his bags is that they are full of children who are moving and distorting them ;).

You are right, thank you for your input.

at first I wondered why you didn't wet blend, then I realized that would be difficult with out it fully assembled! as you wouldn't get a good scale of the blends at this point.

That is one reason, but also I try to limit more difficult techniques to keep the videos more approachable to beginner painters. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!

Love your content. I painted my own Atnas with pretty much the same scheme. I see you use your drybrushes a lot. How do you maintain them? I've seen a couple different videos, just curious what works for you.

BTW, would love to see some of the other gamblers chest monsters as well - Crimson Croc or Smog Singers

The croc is coming, I just need to jump on Halloween commissions while the season is here, but look for it soon. As for my dry brushes. I don't do anything too crazy. A good wash after use stroking it on the scrubber side of a dish sponge. Conditioner weekly. And if I brain fart on cleaning and let paint dry, deep clean with ipa. Thanks for watching!

You don't prime your mini 1st?
@waiyapaints Жыл бұрын
Oh I do, and in this case I used a grey brush on primer from Stynylrez. I tend to skip that step, as it seems a bit anticlimactic to paint grey primer on grey plastic. I will try to add that info in the future, thanks for the input, I will try to remember to at least mention that step in the future!

Would love to see your take on more KDM models! Could you do the Gambler ?
