Nice seeing you again. Both of your finishes are so beautiful! Congratulations! As for your needle situation, you’ll need to look at some of Vonna Pfeiffer’s floss tubes. She stitches with a regular tapestry needle doing what you want the double needle to do. She goes down with the sharper side and comes back up with the blunt side. Just a suggestion. Happy Stitching! - Valerie

WOW! I didn’t think people still did Crosstitch, it was very popular in the 80s and I did a lot of it. I still have all the tools I need to do anything I want but just need the desire. Nice work

Yes, there is a fairly large group who still enjoy cross stitching! I didn't realize this until just about two years ago when I got back into and found people here and on social media sharing. Its my way of relaxing most nights now and there are so many more amazing patterns than I remember seeing back in the day as a kid!

I love the hiding place and summer cottage! I've not seen summer cottage anywhere else. Your little dove finish is so cute! I hope you find something to help your wrist. Happy stitching 💜

I have arthritis and a lot of pain in my hands and wrists. I purchased crafting gloves by Clover and they have helped a lot. I am 72 and have no plans to stop my crafting and sewing!

You can gently wash out by hand your fabric to make it softer so you can use sewing method. You can only do this on none over dyed fabric. Aida lends itself to this process very well.
