The arcade boss battle music is Do Or Die, the same as from Katina! Also, off-boresight lock and launch on the QAAMs actually makes sense, considering they're supposed to be AIM-9Xs, if I'm not mistaken. Absolute hell in multiplayer though.

The dialogue basically is a throw back to the original Mobius 1, Viper saying He can't stand old-timer pilots bragging about how they "flew with heroes"(Basically saying that Mobius doesn't think of himself as the same Mobius 1 in the past), Vipers epic last lines in this Campaign are giving you a message that "you're different from other heroes", and though the times have changed everything you did in the past might stay in the past forever, but you will always be remembered as the same Mobius 1 who fought in those shattered skies.

The way i understood when he is talking about that all the old timer pilots talked about flying together with heroes, he meant that they were braggin about flying with Mobius 1. Then he talks that Mobius 1 is different from those heroes, when asked what he was talinkg about he said "the real Mobius 1" the way i see it he said that those stories didn't do Mobius 1 justice, he is much better than the Mobius 1 in the old timer stories.

The prologue was played in the first VR mission, it was just an explanation of the situation. and I'm pretty sure the Debrief of this mission was indeed the epilogue.

FYI - There are a total of 4 planes available in VR mode. 1) The F/A-18 Super Hornet is unlocked by default. 2) The SU-30M2 Flanker is unlocked after completing 3 missions. 3) The A10C- Thunderbolt is unlocked after completing 5 missions. 3) The F-22A Raptor is unlocked after completing 10 missions. NOTE: Missions can be completed in any difficulty setting (I played them in EASY mode just to unlock all the planes and now I play in NORMAL mode to try out all the different jets). Also completing missions with an unlocked plane will unlock more weapon loadouts for that plane (up to a max of 3). Hope this helps. And yeah, the F22 is awesome in VR mode because the "bubble canopy" gives you a completely unobstructed view and also is highly agile in air combat. My favorite plane to fly in VR (next to the Super Hornet).

Jesse G - You just need to replay it and complete missions (in any difficulty setting) to unlock all the available planes (see my previous response for the details). The F-22A is pretty sweet in VR mode, my favorite plane to fly.

Complete any of the VR missions a total of 10 times (doesn’t matter which one, or which difficulty. Also doesn’t even have to be the same mission 10 times in a row) to unlock the F-22.

I watched the japanese language and Viper said "Rotor pilot「ロートルパイロット」" instead old-timer pilot. Can somebody explain this?

I wanna say it's because rotor pilot might be like a pilot of those old rotor-based planes back from the old world wars. Therefore, if someone was a pilot of one of those, they'd be old.

Trigger vs Cipher, definetly Cipher. If it weren't for him bitchslapping Belka the way he did then (I think Merenary is the cannon route btw) then Ace Combat 5, Ace Combat 6, Ace Combat 7, and to some degree Ace Combat 4 would never have happened.
