I demonstrated this game when it was still a prototype at last year's UKGE. I'm not really a fan of wrestling but still really enjoyed the game. I was working with the designers and they were getting really amped up, they clearly enjoyed the experience and really love wrestling. The test of a good thematic game is if it is enjoyable for fans of the theme and still good fun for people who aren't fans 😄

Not sure this counts as a BOARD GAME, though there's dice and a bunch of cards giving all the diff options... But PLEASE tell me u guys have played GWF --Galactian(?... galaxy-esque word) Wrestling Federation They've got a TON of real wrestlers now, but it started with a bunch of "future" wrestlers (shout out to my boys: Bounty Hunter, Bishop Hell, and of course, the man of all galaxies, THANTOS---- if ya know, YA KNOW lol)... U guys could probably make an entire channel out of it, and GD if I didn't wish I had enough friends into Wrestling and into board games to do my/our own channel for this.... Cuz it's THAT awesome, and way more fast paced and exciting than this or any other Wrestling board game I've ever played or seen either

Half his moves are Jericho and the other half are Kenny. Given he was born as a 6th generational wrestler from Winnipeg Canada in the 23rd century, there is a whole mystery in ATW about who is great grandfather. Debate still rages, and plays into the storyline campaign

Hi Thomas. It really isn't - i am not sure why the team played it as such because the video makes it appear that way: 1. The big thing about this game is hand and deck management. Many of the rules related to this were ignored or not activated. For example, a key rule that was omitted was that you can discard 2 cards from your hand (except the finisher) to block an attack. Keep in mind, you can never draw this cards into your hand ever again, so using your cards that way means you are missing out on valuable attacks. 2. The funnest part about the game is combos which wasn't featured here. Some combos add damage, while others reduce the Target Number of your roll, making dice rolls easier. Its the best feeling in the world stringing 3 or 4 combo attacks back to back. So much fun! I can go on and on about dice mitigation and other concepts but I'll stop here :) obviously i love this game. I think i played it with like 10 different people, most of them got a copy afterwards. Awesome game
