I feel like Skull could make for an interesting house rules. I don't know what additional rule/punishment to add. But you could shuffle all the tiles together and when someone loses a tile, they are just dealt less each round. Someone could start the round with 4 skulls. Could be fun.

Skull but Teri picks what tiles get flipped over. You still play/bet as usual, but whoever wins the betting, Teri flips over the tiles and you just have to beg/bribe for her benevolence whether she will pick Laurie's skull every round

Here are some stats about this game: spoilers below: Both games lasted 17 rounds Lorna was the only player to play on a bid of 2 Blair was the only player to play on a bid of 8 The most commonly played bid was 5 (six in each game) The average bid in game one was 5.3, the average bid in game 2 was 4.8 Dom played the most rounds with 7 Sullivan played the fewest rounds with 4 Laurie bid the most (35 over the course of the game) and bid on average the highest amount (average 5.8) Sullivan bid the least (17 over the course of both games) and bid on average the lowest amount (average 4.3) The biggest difference between bid and flowers turned over on a single turn was Lorna's bid of 7, turning 1 flower Blair turned over the most flowers (21) Sullivan bid a total of 17 and turned over 13 flowers, giving him the best success rate (76%) Lorna bid a total of 30 and turned over 11 flowers (the fewest of anyone), giving her the worst success rate (37%)

I learned it that when you discard, you choose, rather than it being random.

You do choose when the table calls your bluff and you reveal your own skull. When you reveal another player's skull, they choose, but without seeing your tiles. So it's always the player whose skull was revealed that chooses.
