Even more clarification, you can always turn right on red, as long as there isn't a sign that tells you you can't at that intersection. Also, you can turn left on red as well, but only if you are turning onto a one-way street from a one-way street.

I love ATS. I don't play it every day, but I do play often. Just so people know you don't necessarily have to build your income up all that much to buy a truck. Once you get some money you can get a bank loan and buy a standard truck and as long as you keep the jobs going you will have no problem paying off the loan in the expected time frame. You can also link your account to World of Trucks and do external contracts which allow you to have a lot more time to complete jobs. The time frame for completing WoT jobs is real world time, not game time, so stopping to rest doesn't put you at risk for being late, and there are usually some pretty big jobs with a nice payout.

Great video! Don't feel bad about getting damage on the first job, I did the same! Yes most places you can turn right on a red light, providing you stop first and look. Also for American terminology(don't sound like a tourist) it's freeways and highways. Or interstate(freeways). Interstates are marked with blue and red signs and we typically say I-5 instead of route 5 or interstate 5. Just some American tips! I'm currently headquartered in Elko, Nevada as that is sorta in the direction of my real home in South Dakota. :) Can't wait for more ATS from you!

When I played ETS2 I started in England and I had to move to the continent because I kept driving on the wrong side all the time. You also did far better backing that truck in than I did, lol. I am used to the reverse system from FS15 which is pretty easy. One other thing, you can change the measurements to Kilos and KM in the options menu. Helps us metric folks navigate ;)

depends on the state(That"s correct, some minor Driving laws can vary from state to state), but unless otherwise indicated by a sign next to the light, Right hand turns are allowed on a red light AFTER a stop. Also, of course...yield to oncoming traffic. Good video Dagger.

in America, we turn right on red lights(if there's a breaking in traffic), and not left on right.also- I America, the highway speed limits are 65mph and usually you can do about 5 mph or so over it. I would recommend just keeping up with the traffic because the cops wont pull you over

Hey Daggerwin, you can turn right on red lights also when you turn any direction into a 4 lain road you must turn into the closest lane to you. also staying in the right lane as much as possible since that's the slow lane.

Yep - you can turn right on red - treat it as a stop sign. Same for flashing red lights in the traffic signal - flashing red is treated like a stop sign, flashing yellow mean to yield to traffic. Good luck!

In the US it is assumed that if you go 10 - 15 mph on the highway you won't get pulled over. If you go 5-10mp (more like 5-8) over the limit on main roads and back roads you wont get pulled over.

you can turn right on red, it basically just means yield if turning right. that being said, you can turn left on red if you are turning onto a one way.

-"Fuel economy" does nothing if you have set your game options to "Realistic fuel usage" or something like that. So don't waste any ticks on that category. -"Just in time" category is very important, as you can combine it with "High value cargo" "Fragile cargo" and "Hazardous cargo". You need to tick the first two boxes to open up the "Urgent delivery" and "Very important delivery". Don't leave these 'til the end! Preferably tick it first, otherwise you'll miss out on very good paying jobs with relatively high XPs. So just to recap: "Fuel economy" forget it. "Just in time delivery" tick the first two boxes as soon as possible. After that, tick on both "High value" and "Fragile cargo" and then collect all the "Hazardous cargos" then tick all the "Long distance" boxes. This is the most proficient way to expand your skills.Cheers!

in California you can turn right on red every stop light. some states you cannot run a right stoplight, the easiest way to tell the sign at the turn and on the right side of the road go figure. Something that will get you a ticket is running a stop sign.

Turn right on red is allowed but keep in mind you do not get right of way over anyone. You can turn only if no one with a green light is going that way.
