One aspect within courtney, she plays with feel/emotion. Very consistent/thorough guitarsst. Attended two shows with courtney, she can put a audience in a trance, shes just that good.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Courtney at the Rock Shop in Auckland, New Zealand. She gave me a Caparison plectrum. We talked a bit and she's absolutely charming. As we talked, we both found out that we both had birthdays recently. Hers was last Friday - happy belated birthday. I praised her for her skills and wished her a successful gig. (Very pretty lady.)

nice video. i have been a caparison fan for some time now. if you know me, you know i would use that 27th fret. i prefer the fixed neck but i would be very happy to have courtney's model and prefer it over nita's ibanez but for me, the bridge pickup would have to be swapped out.

I read a lot of comments, do you really think she is great? I don’t want to be mean, clearly she knows how to play the guitar, but I really don’t like the notes she chose for soloing, it sounded like she wasn’t listening the rhythm guitar (the same goes to the guy) It is not just about throwing notes randomly but rather making music with a good relationship with the other musicians, with the other sounds. Not the best review but not the worst. Someone looking to buy a guitar like this would expect much more playing level (technique and musicality) Still, there is good info so thanks for that and we have to appreciate the work of creating a video and spreading the word for this amazing guitars! I hope you don’t take me as a hater but rather someone just trying to give a constructive critique :)

"And they sexism doesn't exist. If that was anyone of one thousand men who played with such poor technique, he would't get a look in. Go girl power! this is a niche market after all." She studied at the Paul Green school of music at 15 and by 18 she was studying under virtuoso Chris Gordon. I don't think she learned poor technique I remember seeing the Iron Maidens for the first time and seeing Courtney. So interested because i'm a HUGE Maiden fan. I was like damn she is hot.....then it hit me how good her and Nita Strauss are. So I started following them through social media and listening to them both rather than watching, this gal shreds with the best! I hope she gets a break like Nita did and busts on through to the other side. Love me some Courtney!

You could have just replied... but hey. "I was like damn she is hot" There you nailed it right there. Thank you, I rest my case.
@TheMaidensTrooper6 жыл бұрын
Strolling through the comments, let us remember music is subjective, meaning what I may like may not be someones shot of Jack. If you claim poor technique then please give examples. Technique can always be improved upon, but raw talent is raw talent and I've watching her playing in my opinion just take off the past five years. I've been in bands where looks overshadowed talent, it didn't work for me. Courtney is the total package, great sound, very aggressive and heartfelt stage presence, meaning she feels every note that comes out of her. Being extremely gorgeous is just part of it, if she can use it to her advantage good for her.
@9wenwilson2106 жыл бұрын
mark, f- the haters, she's great, and coached Nita , admittedly so, gives Courtney total props. Perhaps these guys just jealous, AND- long time Alice fan, but the original band, no comparison to any line-up since. Nita has great skills, but chosen as the "hot blonde" - Alice tried w Orianthi, she bailed after one tour. Probably nice paycheck, but at a loss of individual creativity. Courtney is GREAT !! Role model for a true player, male or female.

When there is a bad guitar tone in a video you can be sure that it sounded awesome in the room, but that they botched the recording.
@ostankovalex11766 жыл бұрын
Yeah, but we watch a video, and the purpose was to shoot a video with the good sound. I mean... what showcase of guitars is that? I've had a Dellinger 2 guitar, I own now an Angelus HGS one, so I know what these guitars are capable of. That's not the brand where you can come into any store and find one to try it out.
@SteelSkin6676 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's a bit disappointing, and often frustrating for the performers who watch the video back. The amps that they are using are also amazing pieces of kit, but whoever miked and recorded this messed up.

Joyce Sanders -Violins are much more difficult to make than electric guitars to the point where there just isn’t a comparison in time or resources, so there is something else at play. Unfortunately, this company need to jack up prices to compete because PRS, ESP, Fender, and Gibson have inflated standard core guitar prices to premium price levels. If they didn’t follow suit and inflate prices, they would be seen as a budget brand which brings with it perception issues. There are many well known but smaller companies who deal with these issues.
