Thanks for putting in your full experience. It was really useful to see the technical stuff pre-mission, like all mechwarriors having to use only the host's mechs and not being able to bring their own heavy hitters. It was also useful learning that the host chooses everything. Looks pretty fun, I've been reading/watching a lot of reviews but your is the one that convinces me that my buddies and I will enjoy this one. P.S. Your friends are hilarious: "I'm fast bois! Ripping!"

Can you explain more on how you got coop to work? Cause my buddies and I have spent hours trying new things to figure it out, and nothing is working. Keep getting a connection error and we all have good internet.

ammo base weapons arent as good as lasers, you run outta ammo in any case it makes the gun useless. that ans always aim for the legs.. easier to take down and you get a lot more salvage

I am wondering how fun it is long term, playing coop through the whole campaign. Too soon to say?

I think it's a case where your mileage will vary. The host is in charge of everything in the campaign; they choose the contracts, select the mechs for the mission, outfit the mechs, etc. The only time other players are able to do anything is during the missions themselves when they're piloting the mechs. Those missions are where the game really shines and doing them with friends lets you be more tactical in your engagements with enemies, but the management stuff can be a bit of a bore. If you're ok talking as a group about how to do all the management stuff, and ok with being tied to one player's game, then I think there's some potential there for a fun co-op campaign. If you're only interested in doing mech battles, then I'd stick to the Instant Action fights.

Thanks for info, they just patched work orders in coop a couple days ago. I was doing all the repairs and performing ninja paint jobs on hosts stuff lol. Having a lot of fun the past couple days with a friend of mine just doing random missions, we have not got back to campaign missions yet either

I only watched like 10 minutes in so far and that was the most frustrating time I've ever spent watching someone play a game... Hopefully they get better.

"Oh your mech isn't repaired yet we got to wait" when it specifically points out the locust which has no body to speak of. The injured pilot, I felt bad for the guy going in without weapons. "It doesn't really tell me whats wrong"....really....all the bright red destroyed weapons and heat sinks don't give you a clue?

Select Co-Op First, then Load, and choose your campaign.

Robert Harris lol bro... 1 tank round would destroy it, 1 missile the size of its finger would leave it a pile of rubble. Literally a giant walking target

@@Ledwow ya. And an atlas can take multiple AC20 rounds. And just run down and literally stomp and crush the people inside the tank. While carrying g its own AC-20 a LRM an SRM and 3 or 4 lasers.
