How strange that Burley's quest didn't trigger. The only thing I can think of is the flag for unlocking the Meat Feast recipe overwrote the flag for carrying Searing Steak, but that's never been an issue before. I wonder if sticking it in the coffer and taking it back out would've fixed it without cooking another.

Man, I had the same glitch when I had to make Burley a steak. The game just didn't recognize I made the first one. : /

I think it's because the "inventing a new item" code is taking priority over the "quest complete" code for this one instance.

The sledgehammer from before, these are the same scorpions, maybe it's possible to make that? Get ahead of the block hardness for a bit, by farming monster drops now?
