I find that if you target your artillery to fire just in front of the enemy lines, you will often bounce shot through the groups. This was how round shot was originally intended to be used. This is most useful when the AI bunches up. Targeted shot is best for grape shot or at the enemy's artillery.

I know I'm late for this but a good Idea is to build a couple large armies send half of them to Great Britain and then England should call back alot of their armies and the send the other half to attack the rest of the colinies. Thats how I did it at least.

Good game but your battle strategies are horrendous.. High ground and forests are king in battle, take and hold them, don't spread your troops around so enormously, because if the enemy attacks your x flank (like the cavalry and troops you sent to your left flank) and you've got to run troops across the map, you'll lose a whole flank and be left with exhausted troops

Because Washington wasn't the first president. America had a government called a confederation until 1789 in which we turned into a federation. The federation is the government Washington was the first president of. Google the Articles of Confederation. Than google the Federalist Papers. These are the two government basis the US has had. Th AoC was kind of an experiment that didn't work, and the FP is the current government.
