Hasn't the trade thing with the merchants changed recently in Meiou & Taxes 3.0? I thought the merchants are now back to theit vanilla function and trade is purely done through the 'centers of trade'.

I have no idea, was it? Why? Was there some issue? I didn't see anything in the logs or updates.

Yes. They are no longer needed to be able to trade.
