@@gots0359 No, it is definitely not Paradox AI. A GOOD mod such as World Ablaze, doesn't have the utter retardation that BlackIce has when it comes to the AI's game sense and general difficulty. Even the peacedeals in BlackIce don't make sense, if the mod is designed to be historical, WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH, is almost the entirety of Germany ANNEXED by the Soviet Union when they themselves were pushed out of every single one of their major cities save for Moscow? BlackIce is shit, deal with it, Paradox is definitely one to blame for a shit ton of bad features and design choices, but BlackIce is it's own maker of retardation.

​@@gots0359 is it paradox AI though? I'm not sure if Black Ice does it, but some mods, for example Kaiserreich, have the AI coded specifically to focus on the player more than other AI countries.

It might actually be a byproduct of the "improved" AI of the mod. I imagine there is maybe a weighting telling the AI to focus on the player's core territory instead of their colonies, as that's normally the meta thing to do, quickly land in the enemy's cores to take them out and you'll get their land anyway. But the problem is Japan is on the other side of the planet, and its actually more meta for them to focus on Britain's colonies to take resources away from the allies.

12:55 despising the extra zones just truly means the mod is being Realistic. Toward the end of the war air and allied naval in the Mediterranean was absolute. Any german subs or would be (still operating) northern Italy would find venturing out to be suicide by air attack.
