Dom, your card does not say it must be earths equinox. With all the planets in the universe one of them must have an equinox right now. Space is so infinate that any time you came in there would be an equinox happening somewhere. The only question is which midnight are you using earths or planet whatevers.

Blair also has a tell in that they loudly fret, "Oh gosh... Oh jeez..." or similar way too much when they're lying or bluffing. Like, they make a big show of being humorously upset (or sometimes try to seem actually upset with some mild cursing) at their situation/cards/whatever. It's always super obvious bc they don't do it when they're not lying and, no offense to them but let's just say that, as an actress, Blair's a great bassoonist.

Navigator puts the chosen card back in the logbook and gives it to Captain, who then reveals and put the card infront of him as „reputation“, which later may play a role about choosing new captains! The phase where they chose the cards until the result is played (by Captain) should be in silence!

Not sure the point system made a whole lot of sense this episode, it basically made the cult leader prefer to side with the pirates innately since only 2 players would get 5 points instead of 3. Generally speaking Lorna could have gone for a sailor victory just to hurt Laurie and Blair since they are leading the series, but that would mean she would let an additional player get 5 points which puts her further behind the pack as a whole.

that would be beyond funny XD but its more likely that they pick one of the people in front and then play to lose, so that the person they picked gets no points and they get a bunch though them picking the same person would also be funny... who gets precedence? cause the one who doesnt swaps with the already swapped score XD and of course... if they both use it in the same round... thats 2 players playing to lose XD

@connla Blair does have immunity card though, so at the very least she'd be able to choose who doesn't get her points (unless it applies to bith and not just one person, can't remember the card's description)

During navigation, the selected players must remain silent and may not give any signs or signals. Shuffling your navigation cards and discarding a random card to “prove” that you had no choice is not allowed. Only after the captain has revealed the last navigation card, the players can talk about the cards they allegedly drew and discarded.

@@michaelcordeiro12 Well, he put a "normal conservative" in as prime minister instead of one of the social democrats who actually got the most votes (and who they were ostensibly "cooperating" with in the election, saying "vote for whoever is most likely to win your district out of us centrists and the social democrats, so we keep the fascists out"). So he didn't appoint one of the actual fascists, but it was still a slimy spite move (very _cultist_ you might say...)

@@michaelcordeiro12he allied with the centre right party but not the far right fascist party I believe, France has so many parties and that election was such a farce as the left wing won then immediately devolved into infighting allowing the right to ally up and take it from them, it is all a bit of a mess though to be honest

For a less hilarious description of it : he wanted to spring a trap, giving to everyone a short preview of what it would be to have the far right xenophobes at the wheel before the next presidential election (as most of their solutions to all issues is to blame it on immigration because they are mostly brainless and have no real plan outside of low brow demagogy), but it has blown up in his face quite spectacularly because the left wing alliance became the defacto anti-facist vote thanks to him leaning progressively more and more to the right during his two presidential tenures. And now he has to put up with the "decomplexed right", filled with a lot of people that doesn't even hide their sympaties with the far right ideas and few out of touch with modern time centrists (like the new prime minister)...

imo those steal cards would have been much better to hold onto until the end, because it gives the player more information on who to target (for example should their fortunes improve and they end up one short of first place... then first place would be a great target for that card, because stealing 1 from them is a net 2 difference which then puts yourself in first - but stealing 1 from anyone else would just tie for first)

Upon reflection, I realise now that perhaps it's not the players who are the thirstiest group who ever played a game - it's Teri from behind the camera who is their collective thirst-trap! The chalk and croissants clearly corrupted these sweet, innocent, board game enthusiasts. Except for Dom, who is forever pure...pure evil, which is why he's a mega-hotty.

Well I will say, Lorna sadly did not think it completely through when giving the guns to Blair. This guaranteed her (Blair's) team of winning, and as she correctly said later in the video, Blair is leading the overall tournament, so she should just have let dom and sully win, if you look at the big picture.... But oh well it is all fun and games, but yeah a misplay for sure.

One thing that it doesn't seem like they play is that your guns get refreshed when the ship passes the midway poinnt. This pushes a lot more mutinees in that early part of the game.

Question.... If the Cult leader is thrown overboard on the same turn as a yellow card is played, would that skip the cultification ? The cult leader has to pick a new cult member, but if they're overboard would they still be able to?

Chalk is nontoxic. It's usually just some calcites with some binding ingredients and some impurities. It doesn't sound very pleasant and I feel like your throat would feel weirdly chalky for a while but... Like it shouldn't hurt you unless you have a lot, then it might cause irritation and diarrhea.
