We've left the flatlands behind and we've ventured up into the high mountains. We're farming in the Alps now, so we've got very steep fields, small narrow roads and special breeds of animals to be dealing with. Not to mention stunning views and mountain music!

Probably to little to late but in modhub there's a mod called roll over impulse which allows you to flip vehicles over without needing to reset them.

Its like American english and British english They Seem like the same but They are not that also goes for german german and austrian german. Therefore Its not a mistake to Call it that but just an Easier Way to say it

Hallo Fritzgar The Alp Jaeger! If you have an aeroplane between you and the sun it may create an optical illusion called a Shadow. It will probably move in the same direction as the course airplane projects to the ground. And sometimes you have bush planes acting as "spook planes", especially at Halloween. Ha ha! Very good looking map worth at least 50 episodes! Then you both can learn German language and downhill skiing! But you will probably buy the ski resort and put potatoes in the slopes! World cup and "79th Int'l Hahnenkamm Downhill Ski Race in Kitzbühel" seizes to exist! :)

You should use that hill side European combine that raises its wheels up and down to keep the combine level on hills

Just a quick bit of advice about tractors. Try to use double wheels as much as possible, especially on the sloped fields. This prevents your tractor crashing down the mountain.

They speak german in Austria. Because back in the olden Days (you know before america was found) Austria counted as a part of the german states. Because Holy roman empire of a german nation (Heiliges Römisches Reich Deutscher Nation. Thats your knew challenge btw. Say that next week!^^) There is no such thing as austrian. There are several austrian dialects of german (like in vienna and tirol) but the Amtssprache (official language) is german. Edit: That was not yodeling. that was an Alphorn. Edit3: That does not read Weise (wich means wise) But Wiese (speak veese) wich means meadow or grassfield. Edit4: Kreuzjoch translate to crossyoke. A yoke was used to work implements with oxen or horses (like plow, harrow or even carting) Edit5: Brennholz is firewood. You can buy that here in germany. in the city mostly. its quite expensive.

Hi Frith, the machine in the road works was a planer. It removes the old surface of tarmac and coveys it into tipper lorries. Very nice map! good call everyone.

it is not necessary to have dual wheels as long as you go up and down a hill otherwise i think you should get a reform it is a special moutain tractor but i can not find any good mods

Not sure about the alps but i can remember watching a documentary about a mountain team in canada (i think)that had a WW2 artillery cannon and they shot shells into the mountain to force an avalanche it was quite actually amazing to watch Do you guys in Austria do same?

I do know that there are special teams in Switzerland who will hike in the mountains and place explosives strategically to prevents huge build up of snow. This will create small avalanches to prevent bigger avalanches which will endanger structures and infrastructure. Usually very few people will actually live in the mountains during the winter. Often they have a second house / apartment in the lower cities.

In norway they use helicopters and someplaces a stationary pole with a sonic bomb to trigger a controlled avalanche
