Found a dirty little Legion Go secert I like to share here, 1600x1000p looks like 1200p with a performance boost of about 10fps(up to 30%) depending on game. If you could try this on a few games you might surprise people.

Thanks for letting us know about performance later on! A couple of questions; 1. Was everything on the lowest possible settings? 2. Did you try the mod where you recplace one of the game files with a modded one? (The mod is designed to make the ray tracing a lot less demanding, and make performance smoother on less powerful systems, like the Steam Deck, for example.)

@@gbell78hey, are you talking about the nexus mod for optimisation? If so, which file should i download for the above mentioned purpose? Its so confusing with all the multiple files in there
@gbell788 күн бұрын
@@delesegdevassy9685 yeah. I have no idea, as I haven't tried it. But if you check the posts on the mod page(where files, images, videos are listed) you'll see posts, and someone has tested all the files and they say that "Balanced with RT" gave the best performance, as the other options gave terrible performance at the Vatican and in Gizeh.

New subscriber here. I used your videos to install and update stuff. There was a zero percent chance I would have figured that out myself. Thank you for the content. I love your demeanor and authentic teaching ability. The Lenovo Legion Go is my first experience with PC gaming ever. I didn't know it was so involved. I was quite overwhelmed. I thought it was just a super gameboy. But due to your content, I am loving it and am going to keep exploring PC gaming. So again, thank you for your content. I have no idea how it is you figured out all this stuff.

It would have been good to show the fps and fidelity in different areas of the game. This should be a given... It should be common knowledge that fps can range greatly in different instances

Hey there, I came across your channel the other day and it's awesome! A quick question for you; as someone new to the Go. I've literally installed just 2 games(GTA 5 and ESO) and the only adjustments I've made to improve performance I've made are turning off memory integrity and virtual machine platform. And it plays the games perfectly. I haven't messed around with settings in Adrenaline, just set OS to efficient and power settings to performance in the quick settings. Resolution set to 800 in the quick settings too. I like to play at stable 60fps, so I'm happy to play of lower settings. I also play plugged in and at 30W. Anyway, just gave you this info to ask this. I've noticed in GTA 5 that there will be times where fps drops temporarily for a while. But after it's back to normal again. Almost as if there is some process in the background doing something while I'm playing and that's what causes the fps drops. Do you know if there are any settings I need to change to prevent stuff from running in the background while I'm playing?
@punchimangaming8 күн бұрын
Thanks for your kind words and congrats on your Legion Go! If you need a more stable performance without many drops you can also try to go to Adrenalin and turn. on Radeon Chill and set the Idle FPS to 40 and Peak FPS to 40 as well. And then turn on Fluid motion frames. You will notice a stable performance without a lot of Frame drops.
