It is my pleasure! Looking forward to featuring more LABS adventures on the channel in the future.

The Capstan Upright has such a beautifully ambient sound....almost reminds me of the solo piano players in 1940's films in an after hours club.
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it has that unpredictability in the sound, a little unstable which creates subtle movement and ,ice in the sound. Thanks for watching. Joyfully!🎹

I really love LABS as a concept, amazing free goodies meant to spark inspiration, and also introduce you to the spitfire ecosystem! This sounds really good, considering it's free!

These piano's sounds so nostalgic. Labs is indeed getting better with every new release.

Yes, it is an amazing resource and gift to the music community. There are so many musicians who are getting into creations their own sampled instruments because of LABS and Pianobook. Thanks so much for watching. Joyfully!🎹

sounds awesome but there aren't any dynamic velocity ranges that are obvious. hitting the key only gives me one velocity. Could be a problem on my side though. Seems like it hasn't been multisample across a range of velocities. The sound is lovely though.
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
Yes, that is typical of LABS pianos and honestly Spitfire as well. They usually provide only limited dynamic layers for their pianos, I think this one might have at the most three. It is more about capturing a mood and keeps things in those lower, softer dynamic ranges. I would experiment with your keyboard velocity curve as well as the dynamic slider to see what you can dial in, it might help get you into more of a sound that responds better to how you play. Thanks for watching. Joyfully!🎹

@@PraiseTracks thankyou for the reply, friend...👍 I use Keyscape by spectrasonics as my go to piano and let's sound LIbrary so I do understand I'm used to an exceptional piano library. I like the sound of the tape piano though...very nice sound. 🙏

How do you have the bass and drums playing in the back on default while playing the piano? The only way I know how to do this is would be to record a separate track for drums and one for bass and then while I play the prerecorded drums and bass then I would play the piano but I am guessing that is not what you are doing. I use Reaper so am not sure if the DAW matters or not. Thanks
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I set up two other LABS instrument tracks, one for bass and one for drums. I sequenced a short drum part and looped it and recorded an improvised bass part to play the Tape Piano to.

Maestro una pregunta, cuál cree que es el mejor piano acústico vst gratis que a probado?
@PraiseTracks Жыл бұрын
The Hammersmith FREE from Soniccouture is a great free piano. It has a lot of velocity layers but only the MID mic position. Visit this link and scroll down until you see HAMMERSMITH FREE and you can download it yourself to try it out. www.soniccouture.com/en/products/ You need to set up an account with Soniccouture as well as Native Instruments as the piano uses KONTAKT (the free player). Have a blessed Christmas season and a prosperous New Year. Joyfully!

Hello sir. There is a disk problem in labs application. Sometime Disk is showing 100% . And am not getting any sounds, it's like glitch. My Daw cpu is perfect - it's below 2%. Only labs is acting like this when- am playing anything on that lab app.
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
That is strange. I know that there are some settings where you can adjust the way LABS deals with accessing the disk. Let me see what I can find out. Does this happen when using both VST2 and VST3?
@souravgr46692 жыл бұрын
@@PraiseTracks am using other sounds frm Labs Library. Those work fine now. Only soft piano , electric piano am facing this issue. It seems- disk overload when am playing chords ( basically 3/ 4 notes together). For rest library it works fine. Thank you for reply , sir. ❤️🙏

My pleasure. Can I ask what type of drive are you using? The LABS FAQ mentions the 100% issue here: spitfireaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012758197-Spitfire-Audio-LABS-Manual-and-Quick-Start-Guide There is also some additional information that might be helpful as well there.

@@PraiseTracks thank you for this support link. Well elaborated. I kept all the labs Library in D drive.
@PraiseTracks2 жыл бұрын
My pleasure. Is your D drive a spinner or SSD? It also might make a difference if you had multiple instances loaded. Sometimes the Spitfire player can be a little touchy at times. Have a great day and thanks for watching.
