Nice, this is one of my favourite games of all time. I love how it maintains a creepy atmosphere without relying on overused horror tropes. Also it totally is supposed to have given you the controls, you must have accidentally turned them off at some point.

IKR?! I'm getting real sick of spooky mansions, black ichor, creepy dolls and jumpscares. This game is like nope, we're doing horror by messing with scale - main character is tiny, have people with ill-fitting faces and disturbingly weird proportions, have the Hunger as an unexplained plot mechanic, and put the whole thing in the middle of the ocean.

When I was a kid I experimented with a fork and an electrical socket. Apparently my mother in the other room heard a loud bang and ran into the living room to find me flat on my back. I was okay though, or so I’m told. Certainly didn’t put me off experimenting with things as a few months later I tried to disassemble a wall radiator despite it being full of hot water at the time. 😄

I'm not normally a fan of horror but I loved this game. It's creepy rather than outright terrifying, and I really like the Burton-esque look and the physicality of the controls.

I'd no idea this game was so creepy and disturbing, I always thought it was more of a kids game, but that long armed grabby badman should never be anywhere near a kids game - only place he belongs is on a register! I just finished this game a couple of days ago, what a nice coincidence that you guys are now playing it! Really good side scroller adventure. If you like this, check out Inside, very similar art style and gameplay mechanics with a brilliant but bizarre ending!

6:11 Now that is a lovely little little bit of transition editing. I've had leeches on my junk before. It's.. fine, I suppose, if you're patient enough to just leave them to it. Wouldn't recommend trying to tug them off. You can catch the little mushroom mans & give them a big hug, which is cute. You should definitely keep playing it, Aoife. The creepiness grows on you..
