If you wanna use Heavy Armor in oblivion you gotta also run with Alteration, because you can use feather, which negates the downsides. But without it wearing heavy armor is a chore

I always struggle to enjoy Oblivion when I play it. But is always fun watching your playthroughs! Looking forward to more. I am of course a Morrowind fanboy to the core, but I will say that one thing Oblivion does better than any other TES game is make you feel destitute at the start. I'm not even sure exactly how, but it really hammers in the feeling of being a ragged vagrant.
